We will be honoring Bob Delaney with a lifetime achievement award for his service and dedication to the law enforcement community. Mr. Delaney is a former undercover New Jersey State Trooper and former NBA referee who officiated from the 1987-1988 NBA season until the 2010-2011 NBA season. He is an advocate for Law Enforcement resiliency and presents worldwide on operational stress awareness and self-care.
As part of the annual dinner, the net proceeds will be donated to the family of a law enforcement member who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Major Jeffrey Burke #5678, Commanding Officer of the Intelligence & Criminal Enterprise Section, succumbed to a 9/11-related illness contracted while serving in the line of duty in response to the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. Major Jeffrey Burke #5678 was a truly remarkable individual. He was a good person, loyal friend, brother, father, husband, and colleague. He lived a life of integrity and kindness and touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will forever remain in our hearts and will be missed. Godspeed Jeff. May you rest in peace now. The net proceeds will support his family via the Troopers United Foundation, a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization.
